【摘要】:Thistestmethodcoversaprocedureforestimatingtheequilibriumsolubilityofwateranditsvaporinhydrocarbonandaliphaticesterlubricants,attemperaturesbetween277and373K.Thetestmethodislimitedtoliquidsoflowtomoderatepolarityandhydrogenbonding,withpredictedsolubilitiesnotover1000ppmbyweightinhydrocarbons,or30000ppmbyweightinoxygenatedcompounds,at298K.Specificallyexcludedareolefins,nitriles,nitrocompounds,andalcohols.Thistestmethodisrecommendedonlyforliquidsnotcontainingwidelydifferentchemicalspecies.Thisexcludesblendsofesterswithhydrocarbons,andlubricantscontainingdetergents,dispersants,rustpreventives,orloadcarryingadditives.ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
